Travelling in authentic carriages meticulously maintained by The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland, you’ll be reminded of a bygone era of relaxed, gracious travel in a country where the strains and stresses of the modern world seem to magically disappear. The wonderful warmth of Irish hospitality is world famous and will be ever present as we steam across the Emerald Isle, through charming towns, across the River Shannon and through the eskers - ancient geological raised embankments of glacial material, from Dublin . In true Irish style, there’s a Bar Car - essentially a pub on wheels – which boasts the only draught Guinness available on a train anywhere in the world! With different packages to choose from and numerous optional off-train excursions on offer, you can truly customise this journey to your liking.
