Things you need to know

  • Many hotels on this tour may have a shower over bath setup.  To ensure you have a truly immersive travel experience, wherever possible we choose hotels located within or very close to the historic “Old Town” areas of the cities we visit. This often means staying in heritage-style properties that are not configured with walk-in showers.  If this type of bathroom setup may pose a challenge for you, this tour may not be suitable. 
  • European Union’s new Entry/Exit System (EES), a digital border control system for non-EU nationals entering the Schengen Area, has replaced manual passport stamps with biometric data in the form of fingerprints and facial images.  You must consent to this information being collected.
  • While you currently do not need a Visa to travel to any of the Baltic states, the new ETIAS travel authorisation that will be required by all non-EU nationals travelling in or out of the Schengen area from 2027 will be fully operational in late 2026.  Passengers on this tour will need to apply for an ETIAS prior to departure.  We will advise this process once it has been implemented.   
  • You are only entitled to stay a total of 90 days in every 180 days in the Schengen zone.  Please take this into consideration if you are planning further travel in Europe prior or after this tour.
